Pacolli: Court imposes a security measure on more than 68 ares of University of Pristina property

Acting Minister of Environment Fitore Pacolli announced that the Basic Court in Pristina has imposed a security measure on an area of more than 68 ares in the Technical Faculties area of the University of Pristina.

According to Pacolli, the decision represents an important step toward preserving public property and preventing its alienation. She said the issue had been raised and addressed by the Committee on Environment, Food, Agriculture, Planning and Development, which she chaired.

Pacolli expressed satisfaction with the court’s decision and said the security measure protects the property of the University of Pristina from the risk of alienation.

She also praised the contribution of members of parliament in addressing the issue, highlighting the engagement of former MP Milazim Salijaj. According to her, together they had requested that the claims and suspicions related to this property be investigated and addressed by the competent institutions.

The acting minister said she would continue her efforts to protect public property through the law and institutional responsibility.
