NPK “Sharri” Suspends the Use of Drinking Water in Poroj, Xhepçisht and Reçicë

Following analyses conducted to assess water quality, NPK “Sharri” Tetovo announces that the water in Poroj, Xhepçisht, Reçicë e Madhe and Reçicë e Vogël, in the section from the cemetery of Reçicë e Vogël village to Reçicë e Madhe, does not meet the criteria for use as drinking water.

For this reason, the use of the water for drinking is prohibited until further notice from the competent institutions.

NPK “Sharri” clarifies that it is not responsible for supplying these villages with water, as they are not connected to the Tetovo city water supply system, which is managed by this company. The management and water supply of these settlements fall under the authority of the respective local structures.

Nevertheless, given the seriousness of the situation and the need to protect public health, residents are advised to comply with the ban and not use the water for consumption until results confirm that it is safe to drink.
