Not in my name,” protest announced in Prizren after The Hague verdict

The children of martyrs, war invalids and veterans have announced a peaceful rally in Prizren following the verdict by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

The protest will be held on Friday, September 25, at Shadërvan Square, starting at 19:00.

According to the organizers, the purpose of the rally is to oppose the verdict and defend the dignity of those who, as they put it, sacrificed themselves for Kosovo’s freedom.

“Let us express our position with dignity, calmly and democratically,” the protest notice said.

The protest is being organized by the children of martyrs, war invalids and veterans, in cooperation with associations formed after the war.

The rally will be held under the slogan “Not in my name.”
