Nikollovski: Tripunovski’s departure is a victory for farmers

SDSM MP Ljupço Nikollovski has described the departure of Minister Cvetan Tripunovski as a victory for farmers. In his statement, he says that the person who, according to him, brought the country’s agriculture to the brink of collapse over the past two years is leaving.

According to Nikollovski, Tripunovski made big promises, but instead produced chaos and a series of corruption scandals. He adds that the minister who, in his view, left farmers without paid subsidies, without an application system, with canceled programs, with canceled calls for the modernization of agriculture, and with miserable purchase prices is now departing.

He stresses that, for some much too early and for others much too late, the mandate of a man has ended who, instead of working to improve farmers’ working conditions and well-being, engaged in party revenge, mobbing, and the elimination of all stakeholders who did not submit to his catastrophic policies.

Nikollovski writes that, unfortunately, the problems in agriculture are not leaving with him, but on the contrary are increasing day by day. He underlines that the battle to stop the negative trends harming the agricultural sector will continue in the coming days as the budget rebalance is set to be on the parliamentary agenda.
