New diplomatic steps in Ukraine: Witkoff and Kushner begin first mission in Kyiv

American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the latter the son-in-law of President Trump, will make their first visit to the Ukrainian capital as part of a diplomatic initiative to end the conflict in Ukraine.

News of the trip came immediately after the latest talks in Washington between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
