Nagavci: Capital investments in the 2027 draft budget exceed one billion euros

Arbërie Nagavci, head of the Parliamentary Group of the Vetëvendosje Movement, announced that the 64th meeting of the General Council of the party discussed political developments in Kosovo, government priorities and preparations for the Movement’s internal elections.

In a Facebook post, she said that the country’s economic development was among the main issues addressed during the meeting.

According to Nagavci, the draft budget for 2027, which is expected to be approved by the Government, provides for more than one billion euros in capital investments. These funds will be directed toward infrastructure projects, boosting economic growth and improving the quality of employment.

The meeting also discussed Kosovo’s prospects for European integration, political developments in Albania and the political representation of Albanians in Serbia following their results in the parliamentary elections.

Another important part of the discussions focused on preparations for the Vetëvendosje Movement’s internal elections.

In her message, Nagavci said that the 64th meeting of the General Council had taken place the previous day and that it had addressed political developments in the country, government priorities and the further strengthening of the party’s organizational structures.

She reiterated that the 2027 draft budget, which is expected to be approved by the Government, includes more than one billion euros in capital investments, with a focus on infrastructure, economic development and improving the quality of jobs.

The meeting also reviewed Kosovo’s path toward European integration, developments in Albania and the political representation of Albanians in Serbia, in light of the result achieved in the parliamentary elections.

Nagavci emphasized that preparations for the Movement’s internal elections occupy an important place in the party’s work. After a four-year mandate marked by numerous commitments and challenges, the aim is to create a more efficient organization and ensure broader involvement of women, young people and activists at every level.

She said that efforts would continue toward a stronger, better-organized Movement that remains committed to serving citizens.
