Targets included government buildings, a food store, vehicles and telecommunications towers, while at least two people were injured.
The Thai military said the attacks were carried out on Saturday evening, from 8 p.m. until midnight, in southern provinces near the border. Most of the incidents were reported in Narathiwat, though attacks also occurred in the neighboring provinces of Yala and Pattani.
In Narathiwat’s Muang district, a bomb explosion injured two women. Flames also engulfed a local administration building and several vehicles.
Telecommunications towers were also set on fire in several areas. Authorities warned residents not to touch suspicious objects that may have been left behind by those responsible for the attacks.
Following the incidents, a nighttime curfew was imposed in Narathiwat. The measure was lifted on Sunday morning and, so far, no further attacks have been reported.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the series of attacks.
