Mojtaba Khamenei: The US and Israel are enemies of all Muslims

Mojtaba Khamenei has sharply escalated his rhetoric against the United States and Israel, describing both countries as “enemies of the entire Muslim community.”

His message was published as part of Islamic Unity Week. In it, Iran’s Supreme Leader stressed that the US and Israel are not merely opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, but maintain a hostile stance toward all “Muslims.”

According to the Tasnim news agency and Press TV, Khamenei called on Muslim countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia to reject joining US sanctions against Iran. He claimed that Washington and Israel seek to pressure the states of the Islamic world, including those considered their allies.

“The hostility is not limited to Iran,” Khamenei said, referring to previous statements by American and Israeli officials about several leaders of Islamic countries.

In his appeal, the Iranian leader called on Muslims around the world to keep their unity and solidarity strong. He also referred to a Quranic principle concerning resistance against opponents and mercy among believers.

Islamic Unity Week was established in 1981 by Ruhollah Khomeini, Iran’s first Supreme Leader, with the aim of strengthening rapprochement and cooperation between Sunni and Shia Muslims.

Currently, Muslims are estimated to number around 1.9 billion worldwide, accounting for approximately one-quarter of the global population.
