Minister Hoti Sets 10-Day Deadline for Responding to Citizens’ Requests

Andin Hoti, the acting Minister of Labour, Family and the Values of the Liberation War, has signed a measure aimed at improving standards of dialogue with the public. Under this decision, every request, complaint or submission from citizens will be registered, and they will receive a response or information on the progress of their case within 10 working days.

If a response cannot be provided within this deadline, citizens will be informed of the reasons for the delay and the expected timeframe for completing the process.

Hoti stressed that the obligation to respect citizens is a duty for every public official. He added that since taking office, his priority has been to improve the quality of services provided to citizens. To this end, new platforms for contact with the public have been established, including official addresses for complaints, requests and information, making interaction with the ministry easier.

The minister also emphasized the creation of an institutional culture that guarantees citizens direct, transparent and timely access. “I believe that public administration should serve citizens and that the ministry exists for them. I want every citizen to be treated with respect,” he concluded.
