Military Clothing and Equipment Found Hidden in a Manhole in Mitrovica

During a routine patrol on “Zoran Đinđić” Street in North Mitrovica, police discovered military clothing and equipment hidden inside a sewer manhole.

According to the police statement, at around 13:30, officers from the North Mitrovica Police Station were carrying out their regular duties when they noticed that a manhole was open. Upon inspection, a black plastic bag deemed suspicious was found inside.

After the bag was removed and its contents examined, it was found to contain several items of military clothing and equipment. These included five green military caps, two military tactical vests with ammunition pouches, a military belt, magazine pouches, and other equipment intended for military use.

The state prosecutor was informed of the discovery and instructed that, at this stage, no criminal case be opened.

All the equipment discovered was seized. Meanwhile, investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify any individuals who may be involved.
