Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci took part in the international defense industry conference “EU 4 Defence Readiness – Road Map to Future,” held in Zadar, Croatia. During the event, he spoke about security issues in Europe and recent geopolitical changes.

As part of the conference, Maqedonci met with Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Ivan Anušić. The two officials discussed opportunities to advance bilateral relations in the defense sector.
According to Minister Maqedonci, the talks also covered strengthening trilateral cooperation between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia in the defense industry, the development of training programs, information sharing and responses to hybrid threats.
During the conference panel, Maqedonci expressed concern over what he described as “Serbia’s hegemonic approach toward its neighbors.” He also presented the steps Kosovo has taken to build up its defense system.
