Maqedonci and Ambassador Kraevski Praise Kosovo-Bulgaria Cooperation in Security and Defense

Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci held a meeting today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Kosovo, Hristo Kraevski.

The discussion focused on the overall security situation, recent developments, and the need to preserve long-term peace and stability in the region.

During the meeting, Maqedonci and Kraevski highlighted the good relations between Kosovo and Bulgaria, stressing the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.

The statement said that Bulgaria, as a NATO and European Union member, is considered an important partner for Kosovo. Its years-long participation in KFOR, through which it has contributed to peace and security in Kosovo, was described as an expression of Bulgaria’s continued commitment to stability and security in the country and the region. Bulgaria’s support for Kosovo on its path toward integration into Euro-Atlantic structures was also praised.

At the end of the meeting, both sides confirmed their readiness to continue their joint engagement and further deepen Kosovo-Bulgaria cooperation in the field of security and defense, in line with their shared objectives.
