LVV Seeks Agreement on President to Avoid New Elections

Hysen Durmishi, a member of the Vetëvendosje Movement, has expressed confidence that a solution will be found for the election of the president.

According to him, reaching an agreement on the head of state is necessary to prevent the country from facing elections again.

“We hope an agreement will be reached as soon as possible so that we do not have to go to elections once again,” Durmishi said.

However, he did not disclose the names LVV may have proposed for the post of president, nor whether there is a concrete agreement between the parties.

Asked who LVV’s proposed candidates for president were, Durmishi replied: “I don’t know.”

Durmishi made these statements after being sworn in as a new member of the Vetëvendosje Movement at the Central Election Commission.
