LSDM: After two years of Mickoski’s government, none of the promises have been fulfilled

LSDM says that, two years after Hristijan Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE took power, the commitments made to citizens have remained nothing more than statements without implementation.

According to the party, a review of the “Platform #1198” program highlights that, after two years, as many as 90% of the promises made have not been carried out.

“Mickoski and VMRO promised a higher standard of living, but today citizens’ wallets and refrigerators are even emptier. They promised lower inflation of 2.5%, while food prices continue to rise and inflation has reached 4.8%, twice the European average. They promised more foreign investment, but foreign investment has fallen by almost two-thirds.”

“They promised the creation of new jobs and higher wages, while citizens are facing a 22% increase in poverty and weaker purchasing power. They promised reduced borrowing, but debt has increased by 2.5 billion euros. They promised 180 million euros in support for farmers, but they cut subsidies by 40 million euros. Fewer subsidies, lower buyouts, insecure placement, and a complete lack of systemic care.”

“They promised measures to stop youth emigration, but did nothing. They promised to eradicate corruption and ensure justice for all, while the public is seeing tender scandals worth more than 150 million euros, the partisan takeover of institutions, and control over the judiciary. They promised progress toward the European Union and reforms, but Macedonia today finds its European path blocked. There are no reforms, no results, no progress, only isolation. The result of Mickoski’s fulfilled promises is zero,” LSDM said.
