LDK in Rahovec calls for an internal electoral process at all levels

Through a statement published on Facebook, the Rahovec branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has called for the party to go through a general electoral process at every organizational level, starting from the sub-branches up to the party leader.

The statement from the Rahovec branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) says that at the meeting held on 26.06.2026, among the issues reviewed was the analysis of the results of the June 7, 2026 elections, both in the Municipality of Rahovec and at the level of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Rahovec branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) says that the branch presidency, with the unanimous support of the members present, decided that, by taking responsibility for this electoral result, the Democratic League of Kosovo should enter a general electoral process, from the sub-branches up to the President of the LDK.

According to the statement, in the June 7, 2026 elections, the expectations of the branch and its activists had been for a better result for the LDK. Given the poor electoral result overall, and in particular in Rahovec, the LDK branch in Rahovec considers it necessary to organize elections at all levels. The same statement emphasizes that only through such a comprehensive, statutory and transparent process would a strong LDK be guaranteed.
