LDK Expected to Resume Assembly, Fatmir Rexhepi Supports Coalition with LVV

Fatmir Rexhepi, a delegate of the Democratic League of Kosovo, has expressed optimism that the LDK and the Vetëvendosje Movement can cooperate on electing the president and forming the Government, following Lumir Abdixhiku’s continuation in the post of LDK chairman.

According to him, the possibility of an agreement with LVV is expected to be addressed during the continuation of the party assembly.

Rexhepi stated that this issue had not yet been discussed and that proceedings would resume after twenty minutes. He said that the leadership’s stance on the negotiation strategy remains to be seen, assessing that the discussion will likely take place.

He emphasized that this topic should be concluded with a coalition, as providing a solution is in the country’s interest. Rexhepi added that it would be good for LVV and LDK to reach a compromise on the president and the Government.
