LDK demands prosecution investigation and warns of disciplinary measures over delegate pressure

After the publication of footage claiming that officials of the Municipality of Prishtina exerted pressure on an LDK delegate, through threats related to the workplace of a family member, the Democratic League of Kosovo has reacted harshly.

The party strongly condemned any form of pressure, blackmail, or threat against delegates of its Assembly, describing this as an unacceptable act that undermines the essence of democratic processes.

In the official statement, LDK announced that it will immediately initiate disciplinary procedures and statutory measures against all members who are found to be involved in this case, regardless of the position or function they hold.

At the same time, LDK has addressed the Prosecution with a request to launch investigations, in order to clarify the circumstances of the event and establish legal responsibilities, stressing that no action affecting the freedom of vote and the integrity of internal democratic processes will be tolerated.
