Lamallari Shares Footage of Patrols in Durrës: Additional Security for Citizens and Tourists

Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari has shared footage of joint patrols being carried out by the Albanian State Police and Italian police in Durrës. According to him, the joint police presence provides greater security for citizens and tourists.

Lamallari said these checks are aimed at preventing illegal activities and strengthening public safety. Authorities are also checking compliance with permitted noise limits in bars, restaurants and other entertainment venues.

In his statement, the minister stressed that the joint patrols in Durrës provide an additional guarantee for all citizens and visitors who have chosen Albania, including Italian tourists.

He underlined that compliance with shared rules, both to protect tourists and to safeguard their peace from noise exceeding permitted levels, contributes to the development of sustainable tourism, which continues to grow year after year.
