Kulluri: Smart City, KAYO and the AKSHI issue endanger the country’s security; the government has signed agreements with companies outside NATO

Analyst Edvin Kulluri, during an interview on News 24 with Ola Bruko, said that the NATO summit in Albania is being called into question, as it requires strong guarantees for cyber and physical security, while issues such as KAYO and the TIMS data remain unresolved and, according to him, are still under suspicion.

According to Kulluri, the executive has signed contracts with companies that do not belong to NATO member states, which he described as a move marked by clear geopolitical confusion.

“We still have no information on who took the AKSHI data, it is not known where the TIMS data ended up or whether it went to hostile countries. We have a memorandum such as ‘Smart City’ and it is still not known whether SPAK will investigate how the contract was concluded. The summit requires the highest level of physical and cyber security. KAYO carries many shadows of suspicion, and even those who own the companies do not come from NATO member states. In the past, contracts were made with companies from NATO states and we have had excellent relations with Turkey and Italy. Military relations should not be maintained with countries toward which we have a moral obligation; we must have interaction with NATO. How can a summit be held amid these absurdities and madness? The sum of these actions and the geostrategic disorientation is glaring. It has never happened that capacities are directed toward an unknown course; we are not a Middle Eastern country, our allies are in Europe, we cannot sign contracts with Namibia, Brazil and South Korea,” Kulluri said.
