KSF successfully concludes its engagement in the military operation in the United Kingdom

Since the beginning of 2024, Kosovo has become part of Operation “Interflex” in support of Ukraine, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, dedication and military capability.

According to a statement from the Kosovo Security Force, “Interflex” is a multinational initiative led by the United Kingdom, established to prepare and train Ukrainian military forces with the aim of increasing their operational capacities and readiness to defend the country.

The military’s announcement states that the contribution of KSF members has been highly valued by international partners, further strengthening Kosovo’s reputation as a reliable contributor to international security operations and joint efforts for peace and stability.

“Since the beginning of its engagement in this operation, the Kosovo Security Force has participated with five successive contingents, contributing instructors and specialized personnel to carry out training programs for Ukrainian troops. Through this engagement, the KSF has demonstrated a high level of interoperability with partner forces and professional capability in multinational environments,” the statement said.

Beyond its role within Operation “Interflex,” the Republic of Kosovo has also expressed continued support for Ukraine through participation in international conferences and forums dedicated to coordinating assistance for this state, as well as by providing concrete aid in equipment and donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“These actions reflect Kosovo’s commitment to democratic values, respect for international law and solidarity with the Ukrainian people in the face of military aggression, positioning Kosovo as an active and responsible partner in joint efforts for security and stability in Europe,” the statement emphasized.

With the conclusion of Operation “Interflex” in the United Kingdom, a closing ceremony was held during which awards and recognitions were presented for the work, dedication and contribution of KSF members in carrying out the mission.
