“America250” delegation visits the KSF, Serwer praises its role in international missions

As part of preparations to mark the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, the Commander of the Kosovo Security Force welcomed an American delegation from the “America250” initiative, which included professors, organization leaders, military veterans and activists from this initiative.

During the meeting, General Jashari expressed gratitude for the delegation’s visit and for their commitment to promoting Kosovo on the international stage. He also praised the unwavering support of the United States for the Republic of Kosovo, with particular emphasis on the close partnership and the very good cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and American defense institutions.

General Jashari further informed those present about the latest developments in the KSF and the strengthening of its capacities, also dwelling on the role this force plays in the country’s security and its important impact in preserving regional stability.

For their part, Professor Serwer and the American delegation expressed appreciation for the progress and achievements of the Kosovo Security Force so far, as well as for its contribution to international missions. The regional security situation was also discussed at the meeting, while the parties shared their views on the importance of advancing the KSF toward integration into Euro-Atlantic structures, namely NATO and the European Union.

At the conclusion of the meeting, LTG Jashari congratulated the American delegation on the historic jubilee of the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States, underlining that this anniversary represents the enduring friendship between the Republic of Kosovo and the United States of America, as well as the shared values of freedom, democracy and strategic partnership.

In the end, both sides reiterated their commitment to deepening cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and American defense institutions, highlighting that strengthening Kosovo’s defense capacities remains a key factor for security, stability and long-term peace in the region.
