Kosovo Security Force members successfully complete advanced sniper training

Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci announced that members of the KDS had completed the Advanced Sniper Course, as part of efforts to strengthen the professional and operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force.

According to him, the training program focused on observation, reconnaissance and information gathering in high-risk areas.

The participants further developed their knowledge in mission preparation, precision shooting, the use of camouflage, concealment and movement, as well as in the application of pursuit and observation techniques.

The training also included processes for identifying and engaging targets, the minister said.

“One of the objectives of the Ministry of Defense is to enhance the professional and operational capabilities of the Kosovo Security Force,” Maqedonci said.

The minister added that the institutions would continue investing in increasing the professionalism and operational capabilities of the KSF.
