In a notice published in Pristina on August 10, 2026, it was announced that the management of the Kosovo Police is continuously working to bring neighborhood police officers closer to citizens and their needs.
Providing them with official vehicles is expected to make it easier and faster to achieve the objectives of the Intelligence-Led Policing and Community Policing Strategy, as well as to strengthen proactive responses to citizens’ requests.
The support was provided to the Community Policing and Prevention Division, specifically to the sectors where neighborhood police officers are engaged. New hybrid vehicles have been allocated to cover sectoral areas in all regional directorates, while one vehicle has been designated for the Directorate of Cultural Heritage.
The Kosovo Police stated that it would continue its efforts to deepen communication and cooperation with citizens, alongside further increasing institutional transparency and trust.
