Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi has made public another complaint regarding the situation in the Emergency Department of Lushnjë Hospital. Referring to images sent by a citizen, he says the emergency areas in this hospital have been plunged into complete darkness because of a lack of electricity.
From Brussels, where he is currently staying, Korreshi reacted on social media and addressed the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Enea Karakaçi. In his message, the Democratic Party MP stressed that if such a thing happened in Brussels, “you would be gone in 24 minutes, not 24 hours.”

According to him, the officials who are in Brussels do not understand the reality faced by citizens in Albania.
Korreshi has been continuously denouncing problems at Lushnjë Hospital for several months. Just one month ago, he also held a protest supported by citizens of Lushnjë, who joined the call to demand solutions to the problems that, according to them, directly affect healthcare services.
