Konjufca: Kosovo remains committed to good neighborly relations and cooperation in the region

Glauk Konjufca, acting First Deputy Prime Minister and acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, has reacted to the Dubrovnik Forum, where state representatives, diplomats and political thinkers gathered to discuss “the new international order.”

In a Facebook post, he said that at this forum he had the opportunity to present Kosovo’s position on issues affecting the region and its European future.

“At this year’s Dubrovnik Forum, where state representatives, diplomats and political thinkers gathered to discuss the new international order, I had the opportunity to represent Kosovo’s position on issues affecting our region and its European future. On the sidelines of the forum, I held a meeting with Croatia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman. Croatia remains a friendly country and an important partner of Kosovo. We discussed our very good relations, cooperation in security and defense, as well as Croatia’s continued support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic path, including NATO and the Council of Europe. I thanked Minister Radman for the hospitality in Dubrovnik, for organizing this important forum, and for the clear support Croatia has given Kosovo at important moments,” Konjufca wrote on Facebook.

As part of the Dubrovnik Forum, Konjufca also took part in the panel “The EU and the Western Balkans: Resolving Unfinished Business Together.”

This discussion addressed the prospects for European Union enlargement, the unresolved challenges in the Western Balkans, and the shared European future.

“I also took part in the panel ‘The EU and the Western Balkans: Resolving Unfinished Business Together,’ where we discussed the open challenges of the Western Balkans and the need for the peace, stability and European future of the region to be built on principles, not on endless postponements. Kosovo remains committed to good neighborly relations, regional cooperation, and its rightful place in the Euro-Atlantic family,” he said.
