Kinolli expresses readiness to meet with Kurti and vote for the government and president

Albert Kinolli, a deputy from the United Roma Party of Kosovo, said today that they are ready to contribute to the formation of Kosovo’s institutions and to hold a meeting with the leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti.

According to him, the meeting with Kurti could take place today or tomorrow. Kinolli also stressed that they are ready to cast their vote for the president as well.

“In all likelihood, we will hold the meeting with Kurti today or tomorrow. We hope to reach an agreement in principle so that we can move forward. For us, the condition is not of interest, while it is particularly important that Kosovo’s institutions be formed as soon as possible. Naturally, we are also ready to vote for the president,” Kinolli said, KosovaPress reports.

Rasim Demiri, leader of the Bosniak VAKAT party and acting minister of regional development, also announced that they are in contact with Kurti and expect to meet him by tomorrow.

“We are in communication with the prime minister and I believe that we will meet with him, as has happened before. I think the meeting with Kurti will take place by tomorrow,” Demiri said, according to KosovaPress.

Kosovo’s Assembly is expected to convene tomorrow, August 6, for the constitutive session of the new legislature, scheduled to begin at 10:00.
