K.B. Extradited from Switzerland to Kosovo for Aggravated Theft

Pristina, August 4 – A Kosovar citizen identified by the initials K.B., who was internationally wanted for the criminal offense of aggravated theft, was extradited today from Switzerland to Kosovo, the Kosovo Police announced.

According to the police, the operation was carried out by the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination with the relevant Kosovo Police units and justice institutions.

K.B. had previously been detained by the Swiss authorities following the issuance of an international arrest warrant through INTERPOL at the request of Kosovo’s justice institutions.

Upon arriving in Kosovo, he was handed over to the competent Kosovo Police units, which will proceed with the legal procedures.

The Kosovo Police stated that it will continue cooperating with domestic institutions, partner countries and international organizations on the exchange of information. This cooperation aims to prevent, investigate and detect criminal activities, as well as locate and arrest wanted persons both within and outside the country.
