Iseni Responds to Ademi: The Police Officer Has Not Been Promoted, You Are Misleading the Public

Astrit Iseni, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs from the ranks of VLEN, has rejected allegations made by former DUI MP Arbër Ademi. Ademi claimed that the police officer who demonstratively removed the Albanian flag in Kumanovo years ago had been promoted, while his two sons had been employed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In his public response, Iseni called Ademi’s claims untrue and insisted that the police officer in question had not been promoted.

He described Ademi as “the party’s pampered favorite,” saying that for years he had benefited from the privileges of power without daring to address the real problems facing Albanians, while now he had turned lies into his only means of acting as the opposition.

Referring to the former DUI MP’s main claim, the deputy minister stated categorically: “We repeat once again, without any hesitation: the police officer mentioned by Arbër Ademi has not been promoted. Period.”

According to Iseni, the opposition is resorting to manipulation because it has no political alternatives to offer citizens.

“Why does he act this way? When you have nothing to offer citizens, manipulation is all that remains. But, unfortunately for Arbër, Albanians are not naive. In Kumanovo, we know one another, and everyone knows the truth very well. Even if it is repeated a hundred times, a lie does not become the truth,” Astrit Iseni concluded.
