Interior Ministry seizes six vehicles and an apartment owned by Aleksandar Llazarov from Kochani

North Macedonia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that six vehicles and an apartment linked to Aleksandar Llazarov, who was arrested several days ago, were seized yesterday.

According to the Interior Ministry, on 15 July 2026, the Kochani Internal Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Kochani Public Prosecutor’s Office, took action following previous investigative measures. In addition to evidence related to the criminal offence under Article 215, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, evidence was also secured giving rise to reasonable suspicion that Llazarov possesses substantial movable and immovable property suspected of having been acquired through criminal activity.

The Basic Court in Kochani imposed temporary security measures on the property, ordering the temporary seizure of six passenger vehicles: a Jeep, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Passat, as well as an apartment.

The Interior Ministry said that the Kochani Internal Affairs Unit will continue its measures and activities to verify the legality of the acquired property.
