Influencer dies after falling from the 27th floor of a building in Dubai

An influencer has died after falling from the 27th floor of a high-rise building in Dubai.

Kauana Bilhar, 27, who had gained a large following on social media thanks to her work as a model and her travel content, died after falling from the tower, prompting authorities to launch an investigation.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and have not ruled out any possibility, including the chance of an accident, suicide, murder or femicide.

Her death was confirmed by her mother, Darla Bilhar, on July 7.

“There are no words that can express the magnitude of the void and longing you have left behind,” Darla wrote.

“Today you are no longer by my side, as I had dreamed, but you will live forever inside me.

“I love you endlessly, my daughter. Until the day we meet again.”

Darla has traveled to Dubai to closely follow the investigation and to arrange for her daughter’s body to be returned to Brazil.

In one of her last posts on social media, Kauana had shared with her followers the news of her engagement to her partner, Barbara Abrantes.

She posted photos from the celebration on June 25, a post believed to have been her last on social media.

The exact date of the Brazilian model’s death has still not been made public.

Her mother, devastated by grief, has asked for respect for her daughter’s memory, after her social media profiles were flooded with malicious comments.

“She deserves respect.”

“She can no longer respond to the accusations, hateful comments and stories that are being made up about her.”
