“If he falls, he knows what awaits him”/ Hoxha: Only Edi Rama could have unified all these people against himself

Artan Hoxha, invited to the program “Të Paekspozuarit” on MCN TV, said that Edi Rama knows very well what awaits him if he falls from power, while adding that only he could have unified such different people in the square against him.

“One of the prime minister’s strong points was his image in the international media. He had major support in the international media. Albanians protesting in front of consulates, in front of the UN, where they are going, are showing us another Albania. We used to say they were going to the EU for geopolitical reasons, but Albanians have shown a maturity that has surprised Europeans, that people here rise up over environmental issues.

On the first day, no one thought there would be that level of participation. Among them were environmental organizations. When the people saw that they had taken to the streets, it gave the movement another direction and greater resilience. The new generation came out, the middle class came out, a protesting people we had not seen before.

It is a big question mark, the next step. For the good of the country, it is important that the protest continue in a unified way. But the concern is whether someone will come and take hold of it. That concern exists too, a test the protest must pass. Even those who were here had different positions. They are not unified in the protest. The person who unified them to come out into the square is Edi Rama. It is one of those events where it can be said it was made possible under Edi Rama’s care. He forced people to take to the streets.

Rama is the one most at risk because he knows what awaits him. He has acted as guarantor that in this country you can come and work, and no one will touch you. Edi Rama knows what awaits him. If Rama is not there where the strings of power are pulled…. Only that man could unite this conglomerate.
