“I have never voted for you,” Rama shares citizen’s message: The protest has lost its way, the crowd is being used for other reasons

Prime Minister Edi Rama has published the message of a citizen who, although he says he has never voted for him, says that the protest currently taking place has lost its purpose and that the crowd is being used for other interests.

Rama writes that he decided to give Amarildo Kaçaniku the “signal” he asked for at the end of his message by publicly sharing the letter in which the young man introduces himself as a “political enemy,” but says that the situation should not lead to the destabilization of the country.

“Hello Mr. Rama, I hope this message finds you well, from a young man of this country. Let me introduce myself, Amarildo Kaçaniku, your enemy (a political enemy, of course). I have never voted for you and I have in mind 1 million and 1 criticisms of you. BUT This protest, as you also know, has lost its way and, just like you, I do not like it at all, because clearly for a person who tries to understand the cause that brings the consequence, it seems that the crowd is being used for other reasons and not for the good of our Republic!

The rule of law is not built in a day, nor a month, nor a year, and I know this well because I am a lawyer by profession.

I hope this idiocy stops without bringing any destabilization, because I know very well that history has shown that what is sold with great noise as salvation and hope is highly likely to bring an even greater evil.

On the other hand, I hope and wish that you overcome this wave that is coming at you from outside! When all this is over (here I also send you my wishes that this situation ends as soon as possible), remember the “enemy” whom you can make a friend for the good of Albania, Respectfully, Amarildo Kaçaniku
