Her father sentenced to 25 years in prison, Jakup Krasniqi’s daughter reacts: The greatest injustice of this century! A political and racist decision

Following the verdict handed down in The Hague against the former KLA leaders, Gresë Krasniqi, the daughter of Jakup Krasniqi, has reacted. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

In a reaction on social media, she described the verdict as unjust and declared that the court had acted politically.

“In a court that we consider unjust, political, racist and criminal, an equally unjust, political, racist and criminal verdict was handed down. This verdict ultimately changes the history of the Republic of Kosovo, places a stain on the KLA and equates the victim with the aggressor,” Jakup Krasniqi’s daughter wrote.

Gresë Krasniqi said she would continue to believe in the innocence of her father and the three other former KLA leaders.

Her reaction:

Dear citizens of the Republic of Kosovo,

Today, in the city of justice, the greatest injustice of this century took place.

In a court that we consider unjust, political, racist and criminal, an equally unjust, political, racist and criminal verdict was handed down. This verdict ultimately changes the history of the Republic of Kosovo, places a stain on the KLA and equates the victim with the aggressor.

Four men who turned their weapons against the enemy, not to conquer or seize power, but to defend the doorstep of the house that was burning and being destroyed; to protect family members who were being abused, raped, tortured and killed; who were disappearing and being expelled from their lands.

The KLA fought against the butcher of the Balkans, against one of the bloodiest armies in the region, against a military machine that committed genocide in Kosovo. And yet, today, the liberators were convicted.

In this unjust court, the KLA spokesperson was convicted today, while his counterpart at the time, Ivica Dačić, remains free and continues to live very well in Belgrade. This is just another clear indication of the prejudiced and political nature of this same court.

Naturally, this verdict has hurt and disappointed us, but it will never break us and will never make us surrender.

I live and will die with my full conviction in the innocence and integrity of my father, Hashim, Kadri and Rexha.

Pride remains. The truth remains.
