Heavy traffic at Morina and the Nation’s Road/ Holidaymakers from Kosovo “pour” toward the coast

The final days of August have brought heavy vehicle traffic from Kosovo toward Albania, as hundreds of vehicles make their way to the Albanian coast for the last days of their summer holidays.

Traffic congestion is evident at the Morina border crossing, as well as along the Nation’s Road, on the section from Morina to the toll plaza, where traffic has increased significantly.

At the Morina border crossing, all available counters are operating to handle the large influx of travelers and vehicles.

Similar measures have also been taken at the Nation’s Road toll plaza, with the aim of avoiding queues and ensuring the fastest possible movement.

Heavy traffic is expected to continue in the hours ahead, as many citizens from Kosovo have chosen the Albanian coast to make the most of the final days of the summer season.

For many of them, the Nation’s Road remains the main route to tourist destinations along the Albanian coast.
