Haziri clarifies statement on the position of president

Lutfi Haziri of the Democratic League of Kosovo reacted with a clarification following his statement regarding the issue of the president, emphasizing that the only name proposed by the LDK for president remains Vjosa Osmani.

He also said that LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku is the only address for the development of political processes in the near future.

Clarification for the public interest

Nothing has changed. The nomination of Vjosa Osmani for president remains the only name from the ranks of the LDK. Within the framework of the post-election debate, on behalf of the LDK I presented the inclusive principles and modalities for possible cooperation, to create political and institutional stability.

Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku remains the only address for the development of political processes in the near future.

Political requests, meanwhile, whatever their nature, will be handled within the legal structures of the LDK.

Democracy is equivalent to the freedom and independence of the Republic.

The cause of “one party, one state” is a lost cause.
