Following the agreement between the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) on the candidate for President of the Republic, Acting President Albulena Haxhiu has reacted to the deal.

Haxhiu welcomed the selection of Bekim Sejdiu, saying that the agreement reached represents an important step toward overcoming the political deadlock and fully operationalizing the institutions, reports “Bota sot”.
She stressed that it is now important for the procedure to be concluded in the Assembly, in line with the responsibility required by the situation and the interests of the Republic.

Today’s agreement represents a very important step toward overcoming the deadlock and fully operationalizing the institutions.
