Grim incident in Kosovo/ 14-year-old fatally stabbed, police arrest suspect

Last night, a 14-year-old was fatally stabbed in Prizren. The suspected perpetrator is a 17-year-old, who has been arrested.

The minor was taken to hospital immediately, but did not survive.

“Based on the initial investigation findings, the 17-year-old minor is suspected of taking the life of the 14-year-old minor by stabbing him with a knife. He was found at the scene, and a knife suspected of having been used to commit the criminal offense was seized from him,” the statement said.

The suspect faces charges of “Aggravated Murder” and “Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons.”

The circumstances surrounding the serious incident have not yet been disclosed.
