Greek Pilot Killed During Firefighting Operation, Family Demands Full Investigation: He Was a Professional

The family of the Greek pilot who was killed after a helicopter crashed in Greece will turn to the judicial authorities to seek a full clarification of the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.

His mother and sister have authorized a law firm to initiate the necessary proceedings with the Athens Prosecutor’s Office. Their aim is to determine the exact cause of the pilot’s death and hold accountable anyone who may have contributed to the incident.

The law firm announced that a criminal complaint in support of the charges will be filed in the coming hours against anyone found to be responsible.

“The mother and sister of the late Greek pilot of the Bell helicopter, which was operating in the Porto Germeno area, have authorized our law firm to take all necessary legal action before the Athens Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances that led to the wrongful death of their son and brother, Aristotle, as well as ensuring that those responsible are punished,” the firm said.

The legal representatives also clarified that a statement in support of the charges will be filed against anyone who may have contributed to the pilot’s death, whether through actions or omissions.

According to the family, the pilot was a dedicated professional who selflessly battled the fires to protect citizens’ lives and property.
