Gashi: The law on fair representation is expected to come up for a vote soon

Speaker of Parliament Afrim Gashi announced that the law on fair and adequate representation is expected to be put to a vote at one of the upcoming sessions, stressing that “an imperfect law is better than no law at all.”

According to him, the reactions to this draft are based mainly on the assumption that it will not work in this form.

“Of course, no law is perfect. We can say that this law may have shortcomings in the future, but I think it is largely being prejudged. It is being presumed that in this form it will not work. I think we should leave it to time. It is very good that we will have a law.
