Gashi on the race in Brvenica: Let the best candidate win, without party or ethnic influences

Assembly Speaker Afrim Gashi commented on the local elections in Brvenica, scheduled for November 1, where the candidate of VMRO-DPMNE and the candidate of AKI are facing off.

According to Gashi, voters should not make their choice based on ethnic or party affiliation, as local elections should focus on solving citizens’ fundamental problems.

He said it was time to overcome provincial and ethnic divisions, particularly in local elections. Gashi emphasized that although parties often put ethnic affiliation at the center of voting decisions, citizens should consider the candidates’ platforms and support the best candidate.

Gashi also said that political culture needs to advance, although the country has not yet reached the desired level. He wished for victory to go to the best candidate, one who will serve all citizens regardless of party, ethnic, or religious affiliation./Telegrafi/
