From Wedding Joy to Profound Sorrow, Arianit Çetaj Found Dead in Peja

Peja has been shaken by a tragic event affecting the family of well-known rhapsodist Hasan Çetaj.

Thirty-four-year-old Arianit Çetaj was found with no signs of life on Thursday morning at the family home on “Vëllazëria Dalemani” Street in Peja.

According to reports, just hours before the tragedy, he had attended a wedding in Prizren together with his father and other family members.

The family returned home at around 04:00 in the morning and then went to rest.

At around 09:30, Arianit’s father and brother found him slumped over a sofa on the terrace of the house.

After discovering his condition, family members immediately notified the emergency services and the police. However, the doctor on duty confirmed that the 34-year-old showed no signs of life.

Following the incident, police units, investigators, forensic technicians, and the State Prosecutor from the Serious Crimes Department arrived at the scene.

By order of the prosecutor, the body was transported to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where it will undergo an autopsy.

The case has been registered as a “Death Investigation,” while the exact cause of death is expected to be clarified after the forensic examinations are completed.

Arianit Çetaj was the son of well-known rhapsodist Hasan Çetaj.
