Gentian Berberi, the former director of the Shkodra police, has been expelled from the State Police. The decision was made by the Professional Standards Structures, just a few days after he was informed of his removal from the post of director of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, because he had insulted and threatened the director of Human Resources in the State Police.
According to the information, the insults and threats were made inside the director’s office, after which she immediately reported Berberi to the Police Oversight Agency.

Most recently, Berberi had been transferred to the position of head of the risk analysis sector in the Directorate of Management and Guidance.
He held the rank of “director,” while in addition to being expelled from the ranks of the blue uniforms, a complaint for threats has also been filed against him.
