The political debate in the country continues to focus on the use of the Albanian language in state institutions. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Justice has announced further steps to implement the legal provisions governing the use of official languages.

In this context, Florian Nesimi responded to criticism from Left party leader Dimitar Apasiev over Justice Minister Jeton Shasivari’s decision to make the ministry’s official website available in Albanian as well. The measure is part of efforts to expand the use of Albanian in institutional communication.
The political analyst responded sarcastically to Apasiev’s position in a social media post.
Nesimi wrote that Apasiev had become irritated after Jeton Shasivari made the Ministry of Justice’s website available in Albanian as well, and asked what he would say when the bar exam was also held in Albanian.
