An apartment near the “Tasho” pastry shop in the city of Korca has been engulfed in flames, while it is reported that an elderly man has lost his life inside his home.
According to preliminary information, the fire broke out on one of the floors of the building and the smoke immediately spread throughout the entire structure.

Firefighters and police services have already arrived at the scene and are working to evacuate residents from the building.
Initial suspicions are linked to possible negligence, but this has not yet been officially confirmed.
