Firefighting teams from Delvinë, Finiq and Konispol have been mobilized to contain and extinguish the fire hotspots, supported by around 50 volunteers and 40 members of the Armed Forces.
Ground operations are also being reinforced by aerial intervention. The Armed Forces have deployed three helicopters—two Cougars and one Black Hawk—which are working to prevent the flames from spreading.
All the agencies involved are coordinating their efforts on the ground, with the aim of bringing the fire under control and preventing it from spreading further.
