A serious traffic accident shook Turistichka Boulevard in Ohrid yesterday morning. According to a statement from North Macedonia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, at around 11:00 a.m., an Audi car registered in Ohrid and driven by A.V., 45, collided with a Mercedes truck, also bearing Ohrid license plates, driven by J.T., 46, a resident of the city.

As a result of the collision, the driver of the Audi sustained serious bodily injuries. He was urgently taken to the St. Erasmus Special Hospital in Ohrid, where the medical team confirmed the severity of his injuries.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that, on the authorization of the public prosecutor, an investigative team from the Ohrid Department of Internal Affairs went to the scene to examine the evidence and circumstances of the accident.
