Fatal accident in Fushë-Krujë, 62-year-old loses control of car and ends up in a ditch

A 62-year-old man has died following a serious accident on the Borizanë–Thumanë road, in the Fushë-Krujë area.

According to preliminary information, at around 4:40 p.m., the individual identified by the initials V. L., approximately 62 years old, is suspected of having lost control of the vehicle he was driving. The car veered off the road, collided with a wall and then ended up in a ditch.

The victim, identified as Vath Leka, 62, a resident of Borizanë, was traveling alone. He died in hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained.

Police and the investigative team are at the scene, while efforts continue to fully determine the circumstances and cause of the accident.
