Fadil Geci outside the Palace of Justice: “We are a state-building family, not a state-benefiting one

Outside the Palace of Justice in Pristina, Fadil Geci, the brother of Gani Geci, spoke to reporters while a hearing was being held at the Basic Court against the former lawmaker, who is suspected of threatening journalist Lirim Mehmetaj.

He said that his family is a state-building one and has never benefited from the state. “We are a state-building family; we are not a state-benefiting one. We have fought our entire war from the beginning for our state, to defend the Kaçanik Constitution, and that is why we are here today. We will continue working in that direction until we die,” Geci said.

He added that they had endured all their hardships for the state. “We love the state,” Fadil Geci concluded.
