European Eye Hospital denies accusations: We have not harmed any patient in any way

Following reports about yesterday’s Interior Ministry operation and allegations of abuses involving the Health Insurance Fund, which also mentioned the involvement of European Eye Hospital, the institution has issued a public statement.

European Eye Hospital says that false information about its activities in Skopje was published during the day and stresses that it will work to clarify the truth.

“We wish to inform our patients, partners and the public that we will take every action within our power to make the truth clear. At the same time, we remain ready to cooperate with the institutions, as we have always done,” the statement said.

According to the hospital, no patient has been harmed in any way, whether in terms of health, morally or financially. On the contrary, the institution claims that, despite having gone more than a year without support from the Health Insurance Fund, it has continued to provide ophthalmological procedures with quality, humanity and affordable prices.

Finally, the hospital asks media portals to demonstrate professionalism and respect for the law, the integrity and dignity of everyone, and to let the competent institutions do their work. /Telegrafi/
