EU pledges to support security for all groups in Kosovo

The European Union’s diplomat in Kosovo, Dirk Schuebel, held a meeting with Deputy Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla and Kosovo Police Chief Gazmend Hoxha.

According to a statement from the EU Office in Kosovo, the discussion focused on ensuring protection for every community living in the country.

This initiative is based on respect for fundamental human rights and the standards of the rule of law.

“We discussed creating a safe environment for all communities, based on human rights and the principles of the rule of law, so that no one feels threatened. The European Union will support these initiatives,” Schuebel stressed.
